Long time, No see...

I apologize profusely for not writing more. Life has it's way of just flying by and writing on the blog is usually the least of my worries. Many things have gone on since the start of this new blog such as the family vacation out to Colorado to see the in-laws and changing ministry focus at church. The vacation was great (even though it was a very VERY looooong drive) and was worth every minute. Isaac (my almost 3 year old) was able to see his other set of grandparents and it was a great time seeing my husband's family.
Tony and I also had decided that we would tone down our ministry focus at church and only be involved in one children's ministry for the fall. We have chosen our Wednesday night AWANA program. I am loving being involved with the 5th and 6th grade girls group. I am also on the substitute list for Sunday School and Junior church but am not teaching this quarter. We felt that we were getting stretched at church (we are on the Adult Winter Retreat Committee, Outdoor Ministry Committee and AWANA, sometimes SS/JC/Nursery) and felt we needed to slow down to get things settled with Isaac and ourselves at home.

I hope I have not bored you all with my writings....hopefully i will be able to post pics on here soon...otherwise feel free to go to facebook and look at them there as well

Time for a Change

I have now decided it was time for a change in where I journal. I have used Xanga since 2003 and have decided it is time for a change of scenery, name and focus. I used Xanga mainly in college and for a few years after. I am now in a much different place then I was when I started that journal and have now realized I need something new. My focus of life is different--when I started with my Xanga it was to update people on what was going on in my life as I did not see them as often as we wanted due to going to different schools or living in different states. Now I would like this spot to be a place where I can place my thoughts about life, questions about spiritual issues and what I feel it is like being a mom. I will post pics sometimes too but hope you all enjoy reading and commenting on what I feel is learning to live as a woman after God's own Heart.
